No you won't. But you will need to phone to remove the TV charge from your account and return the box

A word of warning though, the TalkTalk you view boxes are approaching end of life now so you may only get a limited time our of one from eBay. Likewise the Humax boxes too.

If you want a YouView based one the EE (BT) Pro box would be the best but. It's the current box supplied by EE and records 4 channels at a time.

I'd also look at CeX for one as you are given a limited warranty from them. Theses boxes are classed as being on the grey market as EE customers never own the boxes and should not sell them, but they do.

Another alternative is the Manhattan T4R Freeview Play box available new from retailers.

Hope this helps.

TT recordable box

I have been a TT customer for many years. When I first requested TT TV I was supplied with the YouView recordable box. It worked well for many years but when it eventually failed, I requested a replacement. I was told that the YouView box was no longer available so was given the Netview recordable box. I find it inferior to the YouView box. Also, it is only recordable if you buy a USB stick (not supplied by TT). I have recently discovered that YouView boxes are available on eBay. If I get one and use it to replace the Netview box, will I be invalidating my TT contract?
