I am just trying to set up TV having recently left sky. I cannot get any live channels. It says I need an aerial which I have just been and purchased but still struggling. Does it matter what type of indoor aerial I have because maybe I have the wrong type or can anyone advise what I need to do please. I am not very tech savvy. Thank you

Hi

A digital external aerial is required for freeview channels. An indoor aerial may not pick up many channels and give poor performance.

Thanks

Karl.

An indoor aerial may or may not work.

If you are not getting any channels with it and If you are in a poor reception area you need an outdoor or loft aerial to get the full range of channels available.

Check on the Freeview website and input your postcode to see what is available..

Look on check a trade for a reliable aerial installer.
