Now TV

For the past few months NowTV hasn't been working properly on my Huawei box. Programmes run but then shut off after 15/20 minutes and an error message appears. You have to exit and restart from the 'recently watched' area. It then restarts and the same thing happens again after 15/20 mins. It seems to be roughly where the ad break would have been if it was on Freeview. All programmes are the same. Makes NowTV pretty much unwatchable. Can it be fixed, or am I stuck with it because it's an older box.

try a Youview Maintenance Reset and see if this helps.

TalkTalk have not provided these boxes for over 4 years now, so the box itself cannot be repaired or replaced. If you have a smart TV, that may have the Now TV App.

Thank you. I don't have a smart TV, but I will try a reset. Not hopeful as this didn't work for UKTV or U which doesn't work on this box either. I guess the only option may be to upgrade, but would mean losing the recorder which I use regularly and is mainly why I've been hanging on to it..
