    <description>&lt;P&gt;Unfortunately these boxes are approaching the end of their life and to cause various issues.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Do you use power line plugs to connect the box to the router?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If so are all lights on on both of these? Have you tried resetting them using the pinhole and then re-pairing them?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If it's directly wired to the router then try and alternative ethernet cable as this may have failed.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If nothing else works then you could try the following but please be aware, if there is a problem, it could cure the box, but it could also break it given the boxes are no longer supported and approaching end of life, usually due to hard drive failure.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Have you tried a soft reset? To do this hold the power button on the front for around 10 seconds and the box should restart.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If this doesn’t work then have you tried a YouView Maintenance Reset (&lt;A href="https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Articles/How-to-find-maintenance-mode/ta-p/1429347" target="_blank"&gt;https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Articles/How-to-find-maintenance-mode/ta-p/1429347&lt;/A&gt;)?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Try the Factory Reset keep recording option.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You will then need to reset your personal settings (such as parental controls / Set antenna Out to On in Settings: Picture and Sound / Surround Sound etc.) and also reset your scheduled recordings (might be worth taking a note of future recordings before doing this so you don’t miss any).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If all else fails then try a full factory reset from the settings menu you've just used above. You will lose your recordings but you it's the final option available.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;TalkTalk now only supply non-recordable boxes, So it's best to try all alternatives if recording is important to you.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You will need to phone and probably recontract to obtain a new box, but other options for recordable boxes are available from some retailers (see the pinned not regarding ITVX at the top of the TV forum page).&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope it works and please let us know how you get on.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Box says Guide preview unavailable &amp;nbsp;-BUT it is available&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Apps - NOT Available&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;PROGRAMS ARE RECORDING&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;MESSAGE SAYS BOX NOT CONNECTED TO INTERNET&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I HAVE RESTARTED ROUTER OK &amp;nbsp;BUT SETTINGS ON TV SAY CANNOT CONNECT TO INTERNET.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Have tried rebooting tv box but still getting same message&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;any help would be appreciated.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;many thanks&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Ann&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
