Can't switch on box on switch on remote flashes blue

Trying to switch on this morning but remote on switch just flashes blue. Changed batteries still the same. It's a Samsung top box that the remote is failing to start up. I have unpowered that and rest as well. Any ideas?

Sorry but I don't recognize the TV box from your description.

Is it the the TV Hub? Sagmcom?

Do you normally turn the box on at this time of the morning as there is a sleep function within the box that you can set the hours of. If this is set then the box takes longer to load if turned on during those hours. Leave it running and it should wake up.

If it doesn't try a factory reset to the box.

Hi all, sorted. Turns out the plug transformer had failed. I had a spare that I switched with and worked fine. So it was a power to the box was the issue and the flashing blue light on the on switch on the remote was telling me it could not find the TV box.
