Connecting non talk talk modem

Hi , I hope someone can help , our talk talk modem broke Thursday , after contacting talk talk , they told us we would have to wait 3/4 working days for a replacement , to tide us over , I brought a TP-LINK modem , that was easy , setting it up. Not so , I've drove myself nearly mad trying to get the thing to connect , it's fair to say I'm no IT genius 🙄 but I can follow instructions , hopefully someone can help., before I have to buy a new window 😂
