I am running Classic Outlook in O365 on a W10 pc.

I use Outlook to manage several mail accounts and have set up rules and folders within each account. However, many of the folders have disappeared. This came to a head last week and I decided to investigate a bit further.

The specific problem I have concerns my iCloud mail account. A second level sub folder under Inbox disappears every time there is a Send/Receive, but other folders are stable. When I recreate the folder at the same position within the structure and then select it the content eventually reappears, only for the folder to disappear again at the next Send/Receive.

I have signed in to iCloud Mail and I can see all of the folders I created in Outlook, including the one that disappears and also others that had been lost previously.

I have posted requests for help at answers.microsoft.com and apple support. Nothing much yet from the Microsoft support but Apple have suggested I reach out to the ISP - so here I am!

Does anybody have any ideas about this, please (and is this the right place for this enquiry)?

By the way, I notice that all of my folders in iCloud Mail appear to be subfolders of 'Deleted Items'. Is this a problem? I couldn't get the apple agent to comment on this specific point.

Regards,

Vic

Hi Ady,

The short answer is Yes!.

However, please see screenshots below - note that the folders in iCloud webmail are listed under 'Deleted Items'

.

iCloud webmail

Outllook

There are also other folders listed that I had forgotten about that do not appear in Outlook.

Regards,

Vic

I'm curious why Apple sent you to us. Your mail works fine everywhere except in ICLOUD and they ditch you. I've had a look at the Apple community and specialists on there suggest the old Remove the email account from Icloud and readd it.
