Right. I had to report a problem with my Internet, I had help through the community and if you look at my recent posts all details there.

I thought there was no charge if there was a fault, then engineer highlighted that there was indeed a fault and advised thT it needed to be monitored. Could you please look in to this for me as I'm really not happy about it. If this is what is going to happen every time there's a problem with your service, then I'll be off. I've been a customer for 17 years ish and never been treated like this. The fault was an external problem, so why the heck should I pay. Seriously disappointed with this.

So it refers to the visit that you had tried to cancel, @jimmymumu, when things appeared to improve?

https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Fibre/Several-disconnections-and-a-fault-on-the-line/td-p/2945307/page/2#M375600

The cancellation of the appointment may have been ignored / not registered in time if you cancelled after noon the day before the appointment.

You reported that the engineer didn't actually find the fault at the time:

Staff will reply after the weekend.

I actually cancelled on the 19th via the link in the text message, I even texted him on the day after receiving a text that he was on his way. The fact is, it had been faulty when I first reported it and it wasn't down to me. I shall wait to see what they plan on doing about the charges and take it from there. Thanks

I originally deleted this post as i thought it was more relevant with my original fault. I don't understand how this remained here. So i've put a link here to it too. https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Fibre/Several-disconnections-and-a-fault-on-the-line/m-p/2960887#M376700 Thanks
