Better value department

I want to reduce my bill and was advised to visit the Better Value Department in the community before I leave TalkTalk and find someone less expensive. Where is the Better Value Department or was it just an excuse to get rid of me?

Just to add to what @Gliwmaeden2 says, I have found that when calling, the quickest way to get to the right people is when asked to state the reason for your call, just say "loyalty team" and you should be put straight through to them.
