topic Cancelling - You're keeping your landline number in Billing

I called to cancel my broadband and the request went through successfully. I received a "We'd like you to stay with us" email detailing the cancellation and I noticed in the middle a line about keeping my landline number. Just wondering what this means. I thought I cancelled everything outright.

Not 100% sure what you mean, but if cancel outright the line is stopped and the number will be re-allocated at some point, if you are transferring to another provider they can take the number so you still have it.

Not sure why that is there, I will feed it back, I can assure you that the cancel request will also cancel the number.
