topic Exiting and Engineer fees in Billing

Hello.

I’ve had an account which is supposed to give me a minimum of 30mbs. It does not, never has and is incapable of using the copper lines.

Having gone through the complaint process early last year TalkTalk agreed that they could not provide the guaranteed service and would allow me to leave with no exit fees.

At the time there was no point in leaving as the issue lay in the copper lines.

Now with fibre in the area I have tried to leave but been forced through the whole checks process again. This resulted in an engineer being sent out. A charge for this appeared on my bill having been told in a chat (which I have a copy of) that there would be no charge.

Last call I have ended with the assistant saying they would call back in 30mins. That didn’t happen either.

I’ve cancelled my direct debit and not really sure where to go with it now.

any ideas?

Hi Hmoecharge

Sorry that you are unhappy.

I can see that a credit has been applied to your account top clear the charge. You can see it in the transaction history in My Account.

Regards
