I Signed up for new contract yesterday for £27 a month, received confirmation email then few minutes later I received a second email confirming my new contract for £33 a month. I checked my account this morning and it says £33 a month not £27. I get no response on live chat.

Hi @Susan1947

Did you manage to get through on Live Chat? You need to get through to the loyalty department

It looks like the wrong discount has been applied to your account.

Sorry for the inconvenience caused by this.

I received a message from "is my bill fair" yesterday and checked whether they thought my bill is in fact fair. I subsequently received a message saying that a new 24 month contract with talktalk at £24.00 per month ( I currently pay £26.00per month ) is on offer and that I would be subsequently contacted by talktalk. They stated this could take up to 28 days. I was obviously delighted that "Is my bill fair" had obtained this reduction.

This morning I received an email from talktalk informing me that as from April my monthly charge would be increasing by £2.00 per month to £28.00.

It seems too me very strange that the day after receiving a purported offer of a reduction of £2 that I would receive notification that in fact my contract was INCREASING by £2.00 per month.

The second one looks like the annual price increase as per the T&Cs. So I do see the confusion between that and the earlier one. Having said all that, it is better that you start your own topic rather than posting on someone else's thread if you want help from the support team.
