I take it you are referring to the legacy PAYG standard voicemail service? It's been a long a time since I used that, is it no longer possible to deselect it via My Account?

Not quite sure what you're talking about legacy PAYG - I've only ever used that term about mobile phone services.

All I want to do is stop people leaving a voicemail on my TT landline if I don't manage to get to it within about 20 rings.

On myaccount/phone settings, there is a clickable link for voicemail but unfortuntely it seems to be disabled and does nothing.

I suspect it used to allow customers to disable the feature.

Apparently it's now switched on by default with no option to switch it off.

Other TT customers have successfully had the service disabled by TT OCEs.

I mean the old system which moved from being free to a retrieval cost of 2p per time. Now only Voicemail Plus is available at a cost of £3 a month. I have moved this to the Billing section where the support team can take look for you, we don't call them OCEs any more, either, things have changed! 🙂

You will need to speak to the full fibre team, your account doesn't show voicemail as active.
