Billing date keeps changing

Does anyone else have Talktalk DD remove payment before agreed date of DD? It's driving me crazy and causing me to have bounced DDs cos I have the payment set up for my salary payment date and they take it out a couple of days earlier and my account is empty! Why don't they stick to my agreed date?

The date can shift by a couple of days either way depending on things like weekends, bank holidays etc. You can move your date forward a few days to suit you better via My Account:

Your direct debit extraction date is the 21st of each month, but can be upto 72 hours later but its never before that date.

The extraction date is also on the monthly bill in My Account.
