    <description>&lt;P&gt;I was late paying my dads bill for him last month. It was paid yesterday.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Over 24 hours later still not switched on, and this month's bill wants double. Yet everytime I try and talk to someone about this it's whoops there's a technical problems. It's ridiculous.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The new bill will have been made up a couple of days before you were notified so too late to reflect the payment that you made just yesterday, &lt;a href="https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/697975"&gt;@Padawanmum&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Once issued, it can't be altered - like a printed paper bill.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Try switching the router off for a full 30 minutes. If the payment is in the system, this may be enough to restart the connection. If it's not yet cleared, it will take longer.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Staff will confirm and let you know what amount is then still due.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;They reply Monday to Friday, daytime.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
