When do I get the £50 reward card I was promised

When I changed to TalkTalk I was promised a £50 reward card. The cable was installed 27/9/24 and the order was confirmed 12/9/24, both of which are more than 120 days ago. I've heard nothing so far, has the reward been forgotten? Thanks

I think it was probably MSE.com.

I did get a confirmation email from TalkTalk soon after installation saying that I would get a reward card after 120 days, but I have not seen anything yet.

I still haven't recieved my reward card, 150 days after connection. I didn't expect it to take 6 months!

I had emails saying the issue has been 'escalated' but nothing has happened yet. Was nobody at the top of the escalator?

When I signed up I had an email saying the 'reward card' would arrive in 120 days.

By the way it's a discount not a reward (I wouldn't have bought the product without the discount), and it's not a card, so maybe 'delayed discount' might be a better name.

@Peter_Flower, discounts are normally applied straight away, whereas reward vouchers / cards come after x days, so it's really not at all clear now from your post!

It probably means that we have been barking up the wrong tree, not knowing what we are looking for.

I'll re-escalate this for staff to take another look at what precisely was offered.

edit: MSE refers to the total "discount" by averaging the effect of the reward voucher. But the voucher itself is awarded well after the start of the contract.

In Talktalk's terms, it's a reward voucher, not a discount. MSE just works out the total average resulting over the life time of the contract to help the selling point and compare with other offers, but the terminology rather muddies the waters.
