New contract confusion

I have been offered a new 24 month contract for the same service with a price increase of £3 each year.

I clicked to accept the offer which took me to a page saying that I'd agreed to pay the CPI + 3.7% annually, not by £3. So I cancelled. Tried it again in case it was a blip but got the same response and cancelled again.
I then went to check my account but the page was just hanging and not loading so I gave up.

Frustrating.

Can anyone help please?

It sounds like Talktalk is even less on top of its generic emails than usual, @sueda.

They stopped doing CPI related increases on new contracts from last August.

It should be showing £3.00 as the default April increase.

Generally I wouldn't click on anything Talktalk sends me when it comes to offers / deals as they are notorious for automatically including the TV package for the unsuspecting customer.

To check every last detail of your agreement / haggle for something better, use Chat, any day of the week, or speak to the Loyalty team on 03451 720088, Monday to Saturday daytime.
