Reported 23 Feb still unresolved crackling phone line. No correspondent since

Spent over an hour messaging first to admin then passed over to a so called technical person

At the end asked me to give them a good mark for their service. What a Joke

I will soon be looking to move after many years with Tiscali

I need an Outreach Engineer.

Had an engineer checking my internal setup and changed the master phone socket 26 March 2024

Informed me if it continues crackling Then request an Outreach Engineer

This original defect was open 23 February 2024 REF- 14026679

The line test has detected a potential fault at the exchange so I have escalated this straight over to Openreach to be investigated by a line engineer.

I will continue to monitor for further updates and I will post back on this thread.
