When I moved house Openreach gave me a different telephone number to the one TalkTalk said I would get so my account telephone number is wrong. How do I get it sorted?

Did they officially give you a different one or is it that if you dial 17070 you find the number that is read back is not what you were told?

If it's a crossed wire then it's a fault you need to report immediately, @GTWIS.

When you did the homemove did you request to keep the same number?
