My landline has stopped working for the last few days - can't make calls or receive calls. When I call the landline from my mobile it goes straight to v/m. Talk Talk just keep fobbing me off (via text, never get to speak to a person over the phone) and I'm answering the same Qs over and over again and when I called again today the recording tells me the problem has been fixed ... Oh really? I'm paying for a service and not receiving this.

Have you tried connecting your phone directly to the test socket?

Subject to that, this has been flagged to the support team here for you. Make sure that your personal details including TalkTalk phone number and/or account number are complete on your community profile (click here) so that they can link your forum identity with your account and then wait for them to respond.

Morning,

I'm sorry to hear this. I've run a test on the line now which is clear, however I can see that previous line test detected a possible loop fault. Do you still have no dial tone at the moment? Does your main socket have a test socket please?

Thanks
