bt open reach engineer appointment

hello, a talk talk engineer called yesterday to investigate a fault and everything inside the house was ok so he had to refer the issue to the bt open reach engineers. does anyone know how long this usually takes and if they will call me beforehand to let me know when they will be coming? many thanks

Hi Chris, it's very slow internet speeds and an intermittent crackly land line, the talk talk engineer said everything inside was ok and that a bt open reach engineer would come and check the outside cables, but I don't know when that will be, is there any way you can check the date of the appointment? thank you

Ok thanks. We can book the Openreach engineer. If you'd like us to do this can you confirm:

That you accept potential Engineers charges
Provide availability, either AM (8am to 1pm) or PM (1pm to 6pm) between Monday to Friday.
Confirm your mobile number (could you add this to your community profile)
