Well it lasted a week - Phone line not working properly

OK. Openreach came out and messed about with the phone line got it working and now I am back to square one. When you dial my home you will hear one ring and the line drops there is no ringing indoors. The line crackles when making an outgoing call. Openreach messed about with the phone lines replaced the phone socket and the ADSL socket, it worked but have no idea how long it lasted. Had it not been for an email today from a friend who is trying to get hold of me I would never have known.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing problems again. Line test is picking up a potential issue with your internal wiring. Is your telephone currently connected directly to the test socket? Your guide to main phone sockets - TalkTalk Help & Support
