We have an issue with our land line.

When called, the call ringing sound can be heard by the caller through earpiece, but the landline phone does not ring out in the house meaning that we are unable to answer incoming calls. Also, another talktalk account holder in the locality had calls to their landline coming through to us. These ring out on the landline phone and we can answer (we have had several calls from their friends and two from their dentist trying to contact them!!!) We do have a dial tone and can make outgoing phone calls.

Our landline is still used by elderly relatives so we need to have this issue fixed urgently.
