How do callsafe screened call and voicemail co-exist? i.e. does screened caller get to leave a message?

Hi @hughg my answerphone is phone rather than Talktalk based and I do get the name of unknown callers and a full message from known callers.

Currently my phone voicemail cuts in after 5 rings. There would be no problem with approved callers (message could be left), or blocked (wouldn't ring}. From what you say the screened caller message from CallSafe would be recorded.

How long before the system hangs up when you don't accept or reject?

What caller id shows with the screened call message?

Hi @hughg I can only speak for my setup.

Approved call go straight through and answerphone picks up after about 10 rings

Blocked calls are never heard.

Screened calls either ring or are picked up by answer phone, don't know how many rings because I'm either out or pickup after 5 or 6 rings.

Don't know about system hanging up, never tried.

Caller ID displays incoming number unless id hidden.

I hope this helps I have found callsafe to be excellent and have not had a landline unwanted call in 4 or 5 years.

Hi @hughg well worth it, costs nothing. Be aware that you cannot download nor upload list of approved and barred numbers.
