Landline out since 6th jan 2025

Phone out of action since 6 Jan. Today I spoke to Talktalk helpline and after sometime talking was told that it was being looked into by Openreach.

I got an email later on saying that an engineer had called and the problem was fixed. But no engineer has called or been and the problem is still there

To say I’m fed up is being polite. To say an engineer has called unless the person I talked to was the engineer and I had called him I don’t know,

still no phone

The fault is still logged with Openreach.

I've just checked their system for the latest info from today as follows :

Issue is linked to a major service outage. 120 end users are affected. Water ingress to cable from exchange. Job required infrastructure. Passed to contractor. Civils required on carriageway. Replace 125m 200 pair cable.

Please review on 3/2/25 for further updates.
