Landline switch to digital

I have an alarm which uses the analog telephone line. I get messages from the alarm provider warning of the switch to digital telephone lines. How can I find out when my analog telephone line is likely to be switched off?

You will be told in advance, @billbees1, but much closer to the time.

The availability of full fibre and digital VOIP is not publicised far ahead of it being possible to order the service, which is a different matter from actually losing the copper line.

It will never happen without notice. Thousands of people are in the same situation as you and you will not be left stranded.

Thankyou! I think the alarm provider is just trying to get people to switch early to make money from them asap (I’m sure there will be a new equipment cost).
