@Icemaiden9081, I gave the OP the contact details in my first response.

I responded to your own post yesterday. It's here:

https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Home-Phone/Landline-phone-not-working-for-days-now-No-calls-in-or-out-and/td-p/3149796#M167760

But that wasn't your own "topic" either.

Though there are no longer staff members on here, it's helpful if you can start your own topic for something that you might want to follow up on, even if just to update us on progress with a fault.

It can be harder to follow if your posts pop up on other people's threads.

To start your own, you need to go to the top of the relevant message board and click start a topic.

Keep track of where you posted in MY ACTIVITY in your community profile area.

I reported a fault on my phone (can't make or receive calls) and got this update:

'An engineer is on the way to the exchange

Updated: 17:41 on 27/05/2026'

He hasn't got there yet and my phone still doesn't work. Is he lost?

How can I get an update on what's going on?

Cheers

Tom

You need to contact Talktalk directly on 03451 720088 (closes 7pm; Saturday hours will be 9am - 6pm; closed Sunday).

Or use Live Chat, @Tomlan8.

As indicated on message boards and in Community Star signatures, there is no longer staff support on here. We have no access to systems for individual technical support.

Looking at when you had an incident like this in November last year, you need to allow up to 3 working days, @Tomlan8 :
