Hi Ady,

Ran through this today and it seems to have improved things. Blacklisted test site certainly blocked, and Google results filtering seems much more sensible. However, it seems to have no effect on search results in other search engines (e.g. Bing). Is this just a (fatal!) shortcoming of this system, or is there a way to make the filtering apply across the board?

Kind regards,

Jo

Similar to many other posts on here, Kid Safe used to work absolutely fine, and was reasonably effective. I haven't changed anything, and the settings are still as they were, but sometime over the last few weeks it has seemingly stopped filtering anything at all. Even a specific site I blocked as a test is not blocked. I've checked the DNS settings, etc, but that all looks as it should be. Please sort this out urgently.

Thanks,

Jo

Hi Jo, have you tried turning the router off overnight and the retesting the following day once its picked up a new IP address?

Hi Ady,

Not particularly keen, as the control of our solar system and heating are routed through it. Does it need to be switched off, or would disconnecting the external disconnecting suffice? How long would it need to be disconnected? And why would this help?

Thanks,

Jo
