TalkTalk Supersafe missing notification icon

My wife and I are both using a Samsung phone. We rely on TalkTalk Supersafe for security. The TT Supersafe icon should show in the notification bar to show that it's working. It shows for a time then goes missing. I don't understand why this happens.

@Gerro I've just seen this thread in the lounge rather than the help section of the forum, so forgive me if youve now sorted this.

My wife and I both have Pixel phones and I often see a discrepancy on these too.

Sometimes we have seen, on an update the need to log into the app, click device protection to set this up again.

The icon sometimes shows, but it shouldn't as we've set our phones to run the app silently, i.e in the background. Could this be what has happened on your phones, one is running silently the other not?

Thanks for your interest. Things appear to have settled down. But I am still not confident that it is working properly.
