Hey folks,

Just had fibre 900 yesterday.

Nice install from city fibre guys 🙂

Trouble is the eero only has 1 spare Ethernet and we had 2 consoles and tv hardwired before.

The PS5 is not working well on wireless with uploads in the 800 kbps region 😞 sometimes and low 10-20 mbps when not

Other wireless devices reporting 4/500 dload and 4/500 upload mbps

Also notice the eero hasn’t got as good a Wi-Fi range as the Sagemcom Fast 5364 had.

so can I use the Sagemcom Fast 5364 for fttp fibre 900 and would it give full speed ?

Yes just connect the ONT to the red WAN port on the 5364.

I have plugged in the sagemcom and indeed got the same high levels of up and download speed.

main benefit is the addition of 3 more Ethernet ports.

The features on the eero app are handy tho and may be missed.

side note for anyone wondering about PS5 upload speeds… the console doesn’t report them properly 😕 by using the PS5 inbuilt browser you can navigate to Speedtest.net and see the consoles true upload speed 🙂
