topic 'TalkTalk with Eero' fibre packages (UK) in Fibre

I've just signed up for the TalkTalk fibre 900 package (which is pretty much the same service I currently have, a 1G symmetric FTTP). Apparently this package comes with a vendor-locked Eero (which I have no intention of using).

However, the sales rep talked about it as a dedicated 'TalkTalk with Eero' package, and now I'm concerned that I'll be somehow tied into having to use the Eero. Can anyone confirm that the 'TalkTalk with Eero' packages will still allow me to use my own router?

Hi prantsaga,

Glad to hear you're joining TalkTalk. In answer to your question, no you are not tied to using the eero supplied
