I already have the FTTP, but i am still paying for the landline. The modem has a socket suitable for a landline type phone so I looking to see if I can switch to using it?

You'd have to check whether it is available here, @dodge38:

https://new.talktalk.co.uk/broadband/fttp

With ordinary Fibre to the Cabinet you have to keep the landline as the infrastructure for FTTC Broadband needs it.

Hi dodge38

Some customers installed with full fibre, may also have what we refer to as MPF leave behind.

This is where Voip is not available as yet, so the customer retains the copper line for phone services.

If you chat with our Full Fibre team as Gliwmaeden2 mentions, they can advise if Voip is available to you and if it can be added.

Thanks

Karl.
