Hi dc981

The line is showing in sync at 55mb.

Please can you power down the router for a full 30 minutes and then run another speed test?

About 3 months ago our internet speed suddenly dropped to around 31mbs, whilst our service guarantees a minimum of 44mbps. The engineer could not fix the issue. We've had re-sets and new routers, but the problem prevails. Any ideas anyone? Any idea how I get some form of rebate perhaps on my monthly fee?

Please can you elaborate by answering these few questions:-

1. What make/model of router do you have (if this is a TalkTalk router, these details will be on a label on the rear or underside of it)?
2. Assuming that you do not have full fibre, if you log into the router, what speeds does it show there (normally in the initial dashboard area?
3. If you have any wired connections, are they affected in the same way as wireless ones?
