Hi,

Does anyone actually know what the engineer will do when he comes to upgrade my standard broadband to fibre 150? I have copper cable to phone socket so no overheads etc or fibre to house as such....

Hi Michelle,

No this will be still a mix of fibre to the cabinet and copper underground so I assume they wont be doing anything in the street - only inside changing the router?

Hello,

If it's not a FTTP upgrade then the set up should remain the same if you already have a Openreach main socket installed.

Just to add, if it's an upgrade to G.fast then an engineer would also install a modem too.
