Just wondering whether the Talk Talk home shield works with 3rd party rooters which are not TalkTalk, as I have a TP link mesh system and I’m wondering whether I’m still protected with home shield or whether I need to buy their security package.

Homesafe requires the use of the TalkTalk network DNS servers, so it may not be tied down to the router. If you can set your TP-Link router to use these DNS servers in its Internet connectivity configuration:-

79.79.79.79

79.79.79.80

Then give it a try.

Thank you for that quick response Keith, just changed my DNS settings, to the Talk Talk ones. Hopefully that will work out and save me a bit of money. I bought the TP link mesh system as for some reason , even though I’m on G-fast I’m not eligible for the Amazon erro, and I’m not willing to pay the price on Amazon.
