Sync speed after line fault fixed

Hi,

is it possible to have the sync dlm reset at the exchange?

we had a faulty line this week, fixed by an engineer visit today, however the dlm has throttled back due to sync being dropped.frequently.

what will happen to my line speed, will it now increase again? Would it be a good idea to have a dlm reset? The openreach engineer said they can only control the minimum snr margin.
