      <title>Intermittent connection dropping every few minutes</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Last Week, an engineer has come and validated not due to set up at home and that most likely the exchange had issues.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;All he did was look up issues in the area and got a warning that the exchange was experiencing sync issues - did not elaborate much further. &lt;P&gt;All usual line tests are clear, but I can see drops in the connection.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I've a router on the way to you, so that hardware can be ruled out. &amp;nbsp;If drops occur with the new router, then the next option is to arrange an engineer for you.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Karl&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;An engineer has taken a look and replaced our main socket with NTE5C socket, and previous installation had a capacitor which was probably cause of the instability.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Taking the new router, is that expected to have any potential upsides, compared to my 3 year old one? would it be a good idea to replace the router anyway with a new one, given the existing router connection is now stable?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
