topic FAST5464 as a mode in Fibre

Hi,

I want to use the hub as a modem so that I can connect a Linksys router to it to be the main WiFi router. I want to do this because the lfast5464 is located in under the stairs cupboard (only available socket) hence really poor WiFi coverage .The property has 2 Ethernet sockets in better locations and I have a switch. So the idea is to put the fast 5464 in modem mode, connect it via Ethernet and connect the WiFi router to a socket. I have searched the forum and it seems that this is possible but I couldn’t find the walk arounds.
The router I want to use is Linksys EA8100.

im open to another solution if it doesn’t cost a lot, but I cannot replicate the main socket due to high costs and property being a rental.

thank you in advance.
