I bought a TalkTalk powered eero from CEX, all working fine but line checks didn’t recognise the device last night when I was having an Internet outage.

is this normal?

also my Talk Talk router wasn’t working last night it couldn’t get connection..

internet connection Is up and running today.

Prescol

TalkTalk eeros are locked to their network and may be locked to an account.

Amazon and TalkTalk do sweeps occasionally to stop these from working.

Best wait for a support staff to advise further as you are a TalkTalk customer, but you may have to return to CeX who may not be aware these routers can just stop working if not authorised.

oh sugar, I’m a Talk Talk customer on G-fast. I think I will have to wait until a staff member responds before going back to CeX.

but they are up and running at the moment.

Thank you, Debbie. I’m closing this thread as I have another one up and running which you are responding. Yes everything is working but on the other thread I will mention the problem with the DLM speed.. and hopefully you won’t turn the TT powered EERO 6 into a brick for myself 😊
