@WendySt, if you need help with your current speeds, please start a new thread. Return to the message board and click on start a topic.

Laying cables is just the start of the infrastructure. Then usually just one company has a monopoly to supply the service for a while. It can take a few years to see offers from other companies.

You just have to keep plugging in your postcode to check what is available, and double check with customer services, especially if you wish to keep using your current phone number.

In my area, I noticed their advert on nextdoor.co.uk....but nothing through my door, nor from leaving an expression of interest long ago.

Maybe plugging in your postcode more often on their website page more often will help, @Bowler21?

It's possibly the sort of cookie that's lost track of when we clear the cache.

Check also in My Account Offers & Upgrades, but always follow up on Chat / phone 03451 720088.

The physical work has to be carried out by Openreach/City Fibre, or freedom fibre depending on the area, we don't control them and sadly don't get a schedule of when they are going to do this, but the move to full fibre away from copper lines is pushing on, when we know, im sure our marketing team will let you know.

Also interested in this had Voneus locally putting fibre in using BT boxes as storage points. Can TalkTalk use this infrastructure to give us fibre to our door and not just the box at the bottom of the street? Also noticed our speed has dropped off substantially recently
