Hello Chris, if you search the community topics with keyword "White light but no internet", you will find a bunch of customers has posted same issue.

Whit light but no internet connection - Page 3 - TalkTalk Help & Support

At my house, I am currently using a SAGECOM CS10005 router model and it's showing me white solid light but internet is not working on my mobile phone or laptop. Like everyone is saying, the only solution is to restart the router, and it starts working again but I need to do it every time and I am doing it since like last 3-4 months.

It would be great if I can find a permanent solution to it. A replacement router or something whatever you like me to try, I am happy to proceed. Thank you.

Hi, I search about this issue and i could find alot forums are filled with this issue and there is no solution to it. My Talktalk broadband router shows white light which means internet is connected but all of my connected devices shows that no internet connection. The solution which all of others are doing is that just restart the router and bingo it starts working again but this is the permanent solution. I called multiple times TalkTalk customer care and every time after waited on an hr call, they say there is no issue with router configuration and there is no fault to line so we can't do much. We wont be sending a line engineer as there is no fault to the line. This is really frustrating that a simple thing talk talk people can't figure out when the forum is loaded with same issue reported by multiple customers.

Hi SwatiMishra,

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing problems with broadband service, is your telephone service working OK? Is there a dial tone or any noise on the line?

Chris

I am not using Telephone service. My router is directly connected to the phone line so you can understand, I am not able to hear any dial tone or anything. I can see a solid white light in front of the router, but all of my devices are showing internet is not working.

OK thanks. So switching the router off and back on again fixes the problem? How long does it generally work before you start experiencing problems again?
