&lt;P&gt;They don't apply when out of contract, but even if you leave, you may take the problems with you if the cause is the Openreach line.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You also need to establish whether the issue is caused between the faceplate and anywhere in your house.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;You mention Wi-Fi, do you have devices connected to the router via a cable ?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Do the lights on the router change or go off ?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
