I need to turn off safety temporarily. I have tuned off Homesafe but Safesearch is still active in my Google account and it won't let ,me turn it off- blocked by administrator! How do I turn off safesearch??

safesearch is a function of the Google browser and not something we can control like Homesafe etc.

From the google homepage, click settings in the bottom right, select Search Settings and the Safe Search options are on the page.

I don't think that response is correct.

My TalkTalk app says:

"Kid Safe

...

Uses Google SafeSearch to block unsuitable results"

I have exactly the same problem. I have just started a new contract, having migrated from Shell if that makes any difference

Google will not allow me to change safesearch settings, telling me it has been locked on by a network administrator or similar. I did not have this problem until I went fully over to talktalk.

So why does the app say that KidsSafe uses Google SafeSearch, as in my previous comment? I can attach a screenshot if needed.
