Absolutely nothing at all I had 90 minutes to wait on a chat and then a further 90 minutes of being taken through useless equipment checks when the issue is clearly outside my home. I received no update on what is wrong and what the timescale is to fix it, why am i not surprised by this i wonder? Their website on issues of outage has not been updated in 35 days and there is no mention of the current issues at all

There won't be a reply from staff on the forum before Monday, @aileendar.

You'll need to use Chat / phone support over the weekend:

https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Articles/How-to-contact-TalkTalk-Broadband/ta-p/2230529

It helps with making Talktalk aware of an issue, @sarahmel, if you can start your own topic, rather than posting on another customer's thread.

A lot of this is automated, and it also helps avoid confusion between replies if you begin a thread of your own.

Correct, for a communications company their communication last night was abysmal, I had wasted 3 hours trying to get either help or an answer, using my phone and mobile data, on line help kept me on hold for nearly two hours, DM via Twitter, an hour, most of that trying to get through security only to then be sent a message to call back in the morning.

I eventually found out what the issue was by City Fibre customers posting on a local Facebook group.

TalkTalk, one simple Tweet and a message on your webpage was all it would have taken!

Good morning,

I'm sorry for the delay. I've checked and the line is currently showing in sync at the moment. Is your connection now working ok?

Thanks
