Which WiFi adapter / network card for Full Fibre 150

I have Full Fibre 150 with a theoretical speed of 150mb/s.

I need to upgrade the wifi adapter on my laptop because the connection is unreliable and has been identified as the adapter at fault.

Is there any point buying a tri band (2.4, 5 & 6 ghz) USB WiFi 6E adapter that can manage speeds of 2402 mb/s rather than a WiFi 6 that can still manage 1201mb/s.

The laptop isn't used for gaming or video conferencing so doesn't have a big demand for higher speed.

The only advantage in buying a WiFi 6E adapter @freelander303 , as I suggested in your earlier thread, is future-proofing. Your problem is far more basic than that anyway. I did give you an example of such a USB3 adapter in that thread. What you buy, though, is down to you. I do not know your budget. This is currently under offer:-
