Problem playing video content on desktop, laptop and android phone

For about a week I have had problems showing video content on all my devices. Video starts to play and then screen goes black and error message Video decoder or demixer had an error with the content. Playback_Video_Decoding_Error.

Can anyone help me with this problem?

Hi @johand4 is the video coming in from the cloud or is it say holiday snaps from your phone.

Are you android or Apple?

This can be an issue with a missing video codec, thats basically a set of instructions that show the device how to play a specific video file type.

There are may video players that can play multiple formats, such as Gom player etc.

A google search will usually show more.
