Hello, I received an email on the 20th March saying 'Your devices are currently working and will continue delivering your WiFi and service as normal, however they are no longer supported by the manufacturer with software and security updates.' I would like to know whether my router is secure or not and whether I need to receive a new router. Thank you.

Hi @MarkHarrison which router do you have?

The email is a generic message sent to all older router users and prompted by ofcom requiring ISP to advise users of firmware update changes.

New threats and exploitations emerge daily so a definitive answer to your question will only ever be probably.

Your post has been escalated for an "official" response.
