Old Router replacement Huawei-HG633

Had this router since 2016 when got fibre contract with TalkTalk. I have been with TT since 2009). The HG633 no longer gets security firmware updates and does not work with all modern devices. For example, I have just added security sensors to house doors as I am caring for disabled adult but these sensors and the app will not work with the HG633.

Is it possible to get a more up to date modem/router from TalkTalk.

That is a very old unit. Make sure that your personal details including TalkTalk phone number or account number are complete on your community profile (click here) so that the support team can link your forum identity with your account and then wait for them to respond. I am confident they will arrange a replacement.

I am in exactly the same situation as the OP.

I'm on the Fibre 65 package, and have the now well-outdated Huawei HG633 modem/router since 2015.

Could TalkTalk please send me a suitable replacement model/router (presumably it will be the Sagem FAST5364)
