Upgrade to Fibre 150

I am looking to upgrade to Full Fibre 150 (without Landline) and I assuming that Openreach will dig some sort of trench across the garden to install the fibre optic cable. Can anyone confirm if this is the case

If your cables are currently underground then yes almost certainly.

If you currently receive service via an overhead pole, it will probably be via the pole.

Note almost and probably as without knowing if your region has been updated above or below ground no-one can be certain

Once you've placed your order the engineer who installs will discuss with you the best entry site to your property to suit you.

You are assuming that it will be Openreach, but TalkTalk partners with different companies in different regions, so if City Fibre are in your area, then it may be with them. They too are flexible on installation.

Staff here are unable to get involved in installation queries so it may be best to phone the Future Fibre team for more information.

Just to add, if your current phoneline comes underground and it is Openreach making the installation then they will probably be able to blow the fibre line via the existing ducting to your property. That is certainly what happened in my case.

half and half, existing cable is undreground up to a junction box between two houses and then splits left and right so I guess the new service will underground all the way from the nearest openreach junction.
