topic Full Fibre Upgrade - New Router Question in Fibre

I was sent a WiFi Hub 3 with my renewal which I didn't want - I have an Eero 6 system set up (provided by TalkTalk with my original contract) and because the router is in a quite awkward place right in the corner of my house, I have since expanded the network by purchasing multiple Eero extenders so that I have good coverage everywhere. I don't want to have to change to the new router and as far as I can tell the old setup should still work given my contract is exactly the same. I did mention this when I renewed but they appear to have sent it anyway. What should I do?

Hi @Vitrian96 sorry don't quite follow your first query. You say nothing has changed but that you are looking for a change? Do you mean the end date for your new contract?

As for the new router, it will be a very good backup should your eero fail, keep it in a safe place and hold on to it.

Ignore the first point, switch on date is tomorrow (rechecked the info they sent me and missed that). The renewal was the same package at a cheaper rate, just wanted to confirm it was sorted!

That's great with the router, thanks. Just needed some reassurance that I wasn't forced to switch, makes sense to keep it as a backup.
